Easy Bloody Mary Recipe: 3 Ingredients, 30 Seconds
A Bloody Mary doesn't have to be complicated. This is the simplest version: three ingredients, one glass, thirty seconds.
The Recipe
- 2 oz Stu's Classic Original concentrate
- 6 oz tomato juice
- 1.5 oz vodka
Combine in a pint glass over ice. Stir. Drink.
That's it. The concentrate already has the horseradish, spice, brine, and seasoning balanced, so you don't need to measure Worcestershire, hot sauce, celery salt, or any of the usual lineup. The tomato juice is the only thing you add.
Adjust It to Your Taste
Want it stronger? Use 2.5 oz concentrate instead of 2.
Want it milder? Drop to 1.5 oz concentrate and let the tomato juice carry more weight.
Want more heat? Add a few drops of Ghost Pepper Serum or switch to the Smoked Jalapeño concentrate for smoky warmth.
Want it bolder? The Jamaican Jerk concentrate brings allspice and scotch bonnet heat for something completely different.
Want it without alcohol? Skip the vodka. The concentrate and tomato juice stand on their own as a savory mocktail that actually tastes like something.
Make It Look Like You Tried
Rim the glass with Sweet Corn Rimmer or Key Lime Rimmer. Add a celery stalk, a pickle spear, or a few skewered garnishes. These small touches take 15 seconds and make it feel intentional.
Go Beyond the Basic
This recipe is the starting point. Once you have the ratio down, you can branch in any direction:
Swap tomato juice for Clamato and you have a Bloody Caesar. Use beer instead of vodka for a red beer. Add tequila for a Bloody Maria. Use tomatillo juice for a green Bloody Mary. The concentrate format makes all of these possible from the same bottle.
